Our Mission:
The most important part of our interaction with you is LISTENING. This interaction allows Dr. Carey to custom fit your specific treatment protocol.
Dr. Carey believes, when related to your health, “millimeters of change produce miles of improvement.”
We look at the whole picture of you; mind, body and soul. This allows us to align you with the best fit for successful chiropractic care. Just like with bloodwork panels sometimes low is good, sometimes high is good and sometimes in the middle is perfect. Dr. Carey knows how to read between the lines of you.
“Chiropractic” embraces the science of life, the knowledge of how organisms act in health and disease, and also the art of adjusting the neuroskeleton.”
– Dr. Daniel Palmer
About Dr. Marisa Carey
When in grade school, Dr. Carey sustained a severe spinal injury (she loved to climb trees). Her mother sought care from orthopedist to pediatrician with no relief of her headaches and pain.
Nina (her mom) took her to her chiropractor Dr. Josephine Cox. In one treatment, Marisa was pain free. She knew at that very moment that chiropractic was her destiny in life.
Dr. Carey has been practicing for over 28 years with the intent of fully optimizing her patients health. Dr. Carey was born and raised on the eastern shore. She received her B.S. in Biology from Salisbury State College in 1987 and her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1993 where she graduated valedictorian.
